Ellis Pearson and Brendan Jury have combined their love for music and theatre. CELLO TO CHECKERS PACKET is beyond words. It is powerful music created in an entertaining and theatrical way. Using surprising objects and an array of musical instruments you are taken on an emotional journey that begins with a breath and ends with an orchestral explosion. This is for adults and other young people.

Jury plays electric viola, Pearson plays cello, accordion, a lavatory and cooking popcorn to name but a few instruments. The music is original; some with lyrics, some without. The overall effect is neither typically Pearson nor typically Jury. Rather there is a unique blend and something completely new, beautiful and utterly original.

The performance can be shortened from its 55 minutes. It is not suited to outdoor venues.
